Welcome!
I have been writing one-shots for various games since 2002 when I started running an annual Halloween game for my Saturday Night game group (which I still do). Each Halloween I would run a different horror RPG - Vampire, Monsters and other Childish Things, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, The Laundry (for three Halloweens), Call of Cthulhu, and Dread (that is what I remember, there might be others). It was then I started writing them fully out, instead of just a series of notes and bullet points. I did that to help me codify and remember my various ideas that would strike me suddenly which I knew I would forget before I could run it.
But I realized I also wanted to write them so others could run them if desired. This became very apparent when I started to create new one-shots for conventions, primarily KantCon (an awesome convention in Kansas City - you should go!). When I ran them I saw how much fun these people were having with them. I wanted them to run my adventures and let me know much fun they and their friends had.
So this all leads to here. My best friend Angela created a website where she hosts her one-shots that she wrote. And I am not above stealing a good idea, so here we are. I would love it if you downloaded these scenarios and, after running them, provide me with some feedback.
Thank you so much and enjoy!
NOTE: If you ever plan to *play* these adventures, either run by me (perhaps at a Con) or by someone else, then read them at your own risk. Admittedly, you can still have fun playing these even if you have read them or run them before because each group will behave differently and interact with the adventure in their own unique ways. But still. some of the surprise will be lost.
